More casting news! Via Variety.com: Showtime has added Jay Ellis (“The Game,” “November Rule”) to the cast of “Masters of Sex.” Ellis will play Dr. Cyril Franklin, another M.D. who will go head-to-head with Michael Sheen’s uptight Dr. William Masters as they share an office space with a mix of patients. The second season of the series debuts July 13 at 10 pm ET/PT. This casting news comes a day after word broke that comedian and actress Sarah Silverman would also be joining the second season of creator Michelle Ashford’s period drama about famed researchers Masters and Johnson.
